stripes

I think I finally found the perfect long sleeve stripe shirt.  The search is over.  This one is perfectly thin and slouchy so I don’t feel constricted but also makes me feel waif-like.  What more can I ask for?

A little tribute to one of my favorite shows, How I Met Your Mother.  Sad that it finally came to an end but if I learned one thing from Barney, it’s to always suit up.  I chose to go a comfortable route with the suit and wore a thin silk cami instead of a button up.  I could have just done a plain white tank but I thought the silk cami gave a slightly more polished vibe.

#weekendgetaway

Otherwise, It was a weekend filled with lattes and plenty of beach time.  Of course I managed to squeeze a small shopping session in but since I’m gearing up for an upcoming NY trip, I decided to be good and just came away with a plain tee.  Can’t wait for another amazing weekend getaway!

One Outfit, Two Ways

Best thing about rainy days are being able to walk around in rainboots and oversized puffer coats.  I’ve had these Hunter boots for a while but never knew how useful rainboots really are until I moved to Norcal.  I’m so protected from all the dreary rain and rain puddles!  However, this isn’t a great outfit option to go to work with so I changed up the outfit a bit to look more appropriate for my work.  Just a simple change of jacket and shoes can really change up an outfit.  Which outfit do you like better? =]

Crayons

Photo Dec 18, 1 19 20 PM Photo Dec 18, 1 22 57 PMThe yellow long shirt and the green jacket have been hiding out in my closet for quite a bit of time and I wanted to try playing around with them.  I got the idea of assembling an outfit which consisted of the main crayon colors and this is what came out.  Yellow shirt, green jacket, red belt, blue shoes, and a purple bag.  I am missing orange though…does my hair count?  It’s been looking a bit orange lately.  😛

Did you notice that the two pictures have drastically different color tones?  I’ve been playing around with photo shop and its quite fun!  Such different vibes can be accomplished with a few tweaks here and there.  Amazing stuff.
