I’m so ready for summer! I had these blue Supergas in mind to wear with this outfit but didn’t get around to purchasing them yet. I don’t know why I can’t get around to spending money on those sneakers, especially since I had my eyes on them forever now. Regardless, after I purchased this headband, it just made more sense to pair the outfit with these brown loafers. I like how the subtle bits of orange on the headband hits off with the rich cognac leather.

Something I just cannot get enough of during the summers – white and denim. Such a fresh and classic combination!
I really want that star tank for Fourth of July! Having said that, these are all perfect for summer BBQs. 🙂

I recently purchased this shirt from the Rose Bowl flea market and I absolutely love the graphic design on it! It just makes me crackle whenever I look at the eye poke.
I think Halloween came a bit early for me. 😀

The skirt color is supposed to be taupe but looks more like a dusty pink. Loved the idea of pairing the top and the skirt together but needed something to break up the matching color. I thought gray was the perfect color to break it up seamlessly. It does a great job of separating the pinks and adds some dimension to the outfit. White was the other choice but somehow it was too glaring.
I don’t know why but this dusty pink color always makes me think of the desert.

Spent an awesome day in Malibu with my sister last week! Wished it was a bit more sunny but can’t complain since I still had a great time. My friend jokes and tells me that LA isn’t welcoming me back. Apparently it was super sunny and hot until I got to LA…and after I got to LA it was gloomy and cold…and when I left, it was sunny and hot again. I have awesome friends.
I can’t stop wearing these One Teaspoon shorts. The denim leopard print makes it so easy to wear leopard without being too committed.

So this is how I look with a beer belly.. ^^
Finally managed a trip to LACMA to take pictures by the infamous Urban Light display. For those of you who do not live in LA, it’s basically a bunch of (202) antique lampposts gathered together as a gorgeous display along a main street, Wilshire Blvd in LA, and in front of one of the most popular museum in the city. Definitely making the trek out there again to take pictures at night. The lampposts at night is a gorgeous sight to check out.
I never thought I can rock a crop top until (ahem) I holed up at the gym for a few months but it’s seriously amazing how much high waist shorts can help a girl out. It did a fabulous job of covering up my lower belly pooch AND makes it seem as if I have longer legs. The positive effects of a single, awesome piece of clothing.

Sneaky, sneaky Ed!
A quick stop at the San Luis Reservoir to take pictures on the way to LA. Such a beautiful place to cruise by! I got this shirt at Wasteland and definitely overpaid for it, considering that its secondhand, but couldn’t resist because it was such a cute muscle tank. Perfect to wear every day during the summer.
