Tweed jacket. My guy friends are always telling me that I look “too” mature when I wear this. Sad Face! But of course I still wear it all the time since I love my tweed jacket. However, the rainy days inspired me to try something a little different with the tweed. I paired it with rainboots and a beret in attempts to tone down the mature vibe and insert a youngster vibe to it. Is it working? =]
I’m still getting used to having to wear rainboots often so trying to think of more outfit ideas that revolve around rainboots. Maybe I’ll try to buy some pink ones to change it up a bit.

My hunt for the perfect foam cleanser is over. I have been using Shiseido for years now and wanted to try something different from the usual Japanese foam cleansers. For some reason they all feel the same on my skin despite the different lines there are. I walked into Sephora and was immediately helped by a nice man who recommended this Ole Henriksen product. I really had no expectations from this foam wash but decided to give it a try since I really like the face wipes from this brand.
I am so glad that man recommended this!! My face felt instantly soft and hydrated. No tightness on the skin that foam cleansers tend to give me! I have not liked a face wash this much since I discovered Clean&Clear cream cleanser during my high school years (unfortunately this product wasn’t that great on my skin anymore after the teen acne went away). 😛
*Been using this face wash for 3 weeks now. And so far, so good! No pimples or dry spots on the skin yet! But I shall have to keep an eye out around my “monthly cycle” since this is when my skin tends to go buck wild.
*I have dry combination skin.
Best thing about rainy days are being able to walk around in rainboots and oversized puffer coats. I’ve had these Hunter boots for a while but never knew how useful rainboots really are until I moved to Norcal. I’m so protected from all the dreary rain and rain puddles! However, this isn’t a great outfit option to go to work with so I changed up the outfit a bit to look more appropriate for my work. Just a simple change of jacket and shoes can really change up an outfit. Which outfit do you like better? =]

My favorite look from the whole video. Love her spin on the head scarf..so gangster!
Closeup! You can see the details of her beautiful studded jacket.
She pulls off the silver jacket beautifully. I love the quilted details.
White leather is always badass and love the star details on the arms.
Green keeps coming into my eyes lately, especially the lime variety. Also really like the high gloss of her jacket.
Skulls and crosses. My forever accessory crushes (including snakes). The tank would be perfect for fourth of July and summer festivals. =]

The yellow long shirt and the green jacket have been hiding out in my closet for quite a bit of time and I wanted to try playing around with them. I got the idea of assembling an outfit which consisted of the main crayon colors and this is what came out. Yellow shirt, green jacket, red belt, blue shoes, and a purple bag. I am missing orange though…does my hair count? It’s been looking a bit orange lately. 😛
Did you notice that the two pictures have drastically different color tones? I’ve been playing around with photo shop and its quite fun! Such different vibes can be accomplished with a few tweaks here and there. Amazing stuff.

Currently obsessing over head scarfs. This American Apparel vintage scarf is the only one I own at the moment but I’m looking around in hopes of expanding the collection.
I’ve been inspired to wear the high neck top because of a show that I’m currently in love with. Downton Abbey. They have the most lovely costumes in that drama! The women of Downton Abbey wear such beautiful blouses, dresses, and hats. It prompted me to wear something that seemed a bit..periodical.
