Efficiently paring down a sexy combination of sky high platforms and a skintight jersey dress with this handy blazer. I like to call it- the mature version of a night out.
I’ve recently been super into high platforms and wedges. Which comes as a serious shocker to me because I have never once (until recently) thought them attractive They just never seemed to be elegant or classy enough and let’s be honest, there are so many god awful versions of them lying around. But I guess it is what it is and now I’m slowly turning into a die hard fan. Let’s just hope that I don’t break an ankle walking in them because 5 inches is a long way down.

Slowly transitioning to fall by incorporating boots more frequently into my outfits and gearing towards longer lengths. This outfit is screaming summer on top and fall on the bottom but I must point out that my top is still transitioning as well. Because if you take a closer look, it’s a KNIT top! I’ve always been such a sucker for knit tanks and vests, and Brandy Melville makes such great affordable ones.
By the way, I recently got this leopard bucket bag from Elizabeth & James, and I think I will be wearing it nonstop from now to forever. I am dead serious! If you get super sick of seeing me clutching onto it in every future blog post, feel free to intervene. :)

It’s amazing how a good dose of pink can liven up an outfit. Wearing the same Cos shirt that finds its way on my body every day and some pink shorts that I picked up at Zara. I also added some silver heels to give the outfit a little extra specialness. They’re such a great alternative to nude or black sandals!

Lately, I’ve been living in this Cos shirt and pairing it with denim shorts everyday. Even though it’s blazing hot out, I decided to chance the heat and went back to my preferred leather and boots because I just got so sick of wearing the denim shorts. It was a glorious change. At least until I had some mimosas and realized that wearing leather anything during the summer while drinking might never be a good idea. Unless you love being covered in sweat.

When it comes to summer styles, I think there is nothing more fitting than adding a little boho twist to your usual staples. In my case, a little embroidery goes a long way in achieving that slightly western vibe.
