Wearing the most comfortable items possible while I fill my belly up during lunch. Can’t beat the combination of jersey and chambray with some tennis shoes.
I have been looking around forever to find this Helmut Lang skirt in my size. It was really nice to stumble across it on the Saks Off Fifth site for half the price! I’m going to need to scavenge this website a little more frequently because they seem to have a really good stock of old favorites at a cheaper price.

Sin City, my favorite place to party and come home feeling more than a little beaten up. These are a few shots I took before heading out to the clubs and drowning myself with some sinful liquid.

Easiest thing to pull together for an effortless vibe- button up blouse and shorts. I was debating between boots or flats with this outfit and decided to go with the flats. The gold cap toe gives it a more sophisticated touch and I love how it accessorizes my outfit more. They may be flats but I feel so much more dressier in them!

I enjoyed such a delicious lunch at Farfalla with my family while I was in LA! My go-to Italian spot whenever I’m in town.
My feminine take on the grunge trend that’s been hitting the fashion scene hard. I thought I was sick of it but couldn’t let it pass by me without dipping my toe in it once. Maybe twice.
After my Saint Laurent inspiration from a few posts back, I am officially re-obsessed with it. And I’m tempted to do every photo post in black and white. Now if I can get my hands on his star knit cardigan…that powder blue color is just too perfect!

How legit is this grill? I had an awesome time doing BBQ with some friends over the weekend but sadly there are no picture evidence of the actual grilled stuff because I was too hungry to think about pictures by the time the grill got going.
This top is a favorite open back of mine at the moment but it proved quite difficult to wear because of its thin nude material. I tried various stickers to cover the high beams but they were shaped funny or the ridges showed through. I finally came across some info that the Reformation girls (if you’ve been on their website, then you know that all their clothing are super thin and impossible to wear with a bra) used Bristols6 to hide the beams. Let me tell you, it works like a charm! Very natural shaped cover and the coloring doesn’t show through at all. I’m in love and I want to have a lifetime supply of it. 🙂

Inspired from the fall runways to hold my bag as a clutch. It was nice to hold the bulk of the weight in my hands but couldn’t get past the worries of staining my bag. Maybe black would have sufficed better for this.
On the other hand, I really love that I can dress up a ratty old shirt with some heels and skirt.
