I always feel the most attractive when I’m wearing all black and some leather. A foolproof outfit guaranteed to make one feel sexier while being super comfortable. A good pair of heels always helps too.

I was in LA this past week and these were the only pictures I managed to take in between all the eating and shopping. So sorry about the lack of blog posts this week!
My sister promised me that LA weather was so perfect that I just packed some light leather and stuff but it was freezing in LA! Thankfully my mom was nice enough to lend me her fur collared cardigan which kept me toasty warm. The fall 2013 runways are really inspiring me to try my hand at more layering so the short sleeve on this cardigan was perfect to layer over my leather jacket. My leather arms were still peeking through and I had the added benefit of more layers and more warmth.
Something about the fur collar made me feel so regal! Maybe this is why lions are the king of the jungles. They have a natural mane of fur around their neck to help them feel regal 24/7.

Anyone watch Big Bang Theory? If you do, then you know who Sheldon Cooper is and that he always wears this red Flash shirt. He inspired my need to incorporate superhero shirts into my closet. I couldn’t find any red Flash shirts with a material that I actually like but this white one from Junk Food tees was a good alternative. Now I really need to get a Green Lantern shirt and a Bazinga shirt… 😀

Currently obsessing over head scarfs. This American Apparel vintage scarf is the only one I own at the moment but I’m looking around in hopes of expanding the collection.
I’ve been inspired to wear the high neck top because of a show that I’m currently in love with. Downton Abbey. They have the most lovely costumes in that drama! The women of Downton Abbey wear such beautiful blouses, dresses, and hats. It prompted me to wear something that seemed a bit..periodical.

Love mixing floral and leather together. I don’t usually wear much bright colors so I did a darker take on mixing the two. My floral skirt is girly but has an edgier element to it because of the asymmetrical cut. I love how the longer back swishes in the wind and gives a feminine feel without having to commit. Hi-low skirt FTW! 😛 Also added some grunge with the biker style leather jacket and some moto boots. I added the beanie because it was cold and I just love how it has such a relaxed slouch to it.
Pardon the background setting. I was meeting up my family for a quick bite to eat and this amazing hole in wall korean restaurant just a convenient place for an impromptu photo session.
On a side note : Don’t I look like a mannequin in this photo below??

I was thinking of titling my post 50 shades of purple, but then thought, wait a minute..i only have like three shades of purple on! =] These days there are 50 shades of everything out there so couldn’t resist~
Someone very awesome recently got me this purple Botkier bag and I immediately wanted to pair it with my Free People tunic slip. Purple is my favorite color and I wear black all the time so I tried putting the two colors without making myself look like a giant grape. I also wanted to add in another color to lighten the color combo and went with this orange-cream scarf.
SF weather is so unpredictable lately! I wore the leather jacket thinking it will be chilly but the weather was actually very sunny and hot. It was a great day to take some pictures by the lake. I wish Howl finished all her vaccinations so she could have played around the lake with me. Oh wells. Next time!
