I picked up this jacket for about $10 at a thrift store and it’s always my go-to whenever I want to throw on something light. My mom says it would have been prettier in an army green color but I’m pretty satisfied with this boring brown color too. I love the idea of it being this dusty boring brown thing that I just grab for errands or whatever else. It’s probably spawned from my ghetto habit of wearing the same things over and over again on those days when I rarely ever leave the house for anything besides simple errands and late night burritos.
Short sleeved button ups always reminds me of the tv show Chuck, a guilty pleasure of mine. The main character is always in his working uniform which consists of the short sleeve button down and some chucks. So geeky cute. I went without the chucks for my outfit but will have to contemplate doing it with chucks in the future.
These short sleeves are such a life saver during the summer. No need to fumble with rolling up sleeves perfectly, Jcrew style. Although when I do see a person donning an elegant silk shirt with perfectly rolled up sleeves, I immediately feel a bit clumsy with my shorter sleeves. But problem easily solved by rolling up my short sleeve to look a bit more undone. Win win! 🙂
P.S. I actually had these sleeves rolled up to show the cute hints of chambray used for the hemming but they slumped back down in the process of taking off my jacket. Fail! Which seriously makes me wonder..how do these rolled up short sleeves stay so perfectly rolled up? I’m starting to suspect some double tape action going on!
I’m in LA again! And not surprisingly, it was gloomy once again so I’m super glad that I thought to bring my trusty leopard jacket with me.
What do you think of repeat outfits? I’m a bit ashamed to admit that I constantly wear the same things, especially when I really like them! Sometimes my sister has to beg me to stop wearing a particular shirt because its the only thing she sees me in for a week straight. True story.
P.S. Enjoying a cold one at Father’s Office. It’s a must stop for me whenever I’m in LA because its my favorite spot for an awesome burger and beers!

Saying my goodbyes to winter and looking forward to the official start of spring in a few weeks. Retiring my fur for now but don’t hold it against me if I happen to do another post wearing fur! 🙂

I had a couple of lace pieces so I put it together to see if it would be lace overkill but surprisingly turned out fine. I’ve had this bodycon dress forever and mostly wore it for a night out in town but decided to try a daytime look. Pairing it with sporty wayfarers and a satchel definitely made this outfit more suitable for the day. I usually like to wear leather jackets when I do an all black look (it looks badass ^^) but decided to save it for the evening when its colder.
Yesterday was an awesomely warm day so I took a stroll with Howl to a nearby Indian restaurant that I frequent often. I confess, I can eat Indian every day if given the chance. I should just learn how to cook my favorite dishes!
I’m getting my new puppy, Howl, acquainted with the dog friendly areas around the apartment complex. Unfortunately she’s not allowed to walk around yet so I’m just carrying her around right now. It was still a fun experience since she passed out right afterwards!
Figured might as well take some pictures while I’m out so I “casually” got dolled up for the stroll. Since the weather isn’t too cold yet I chose to wear a light sweater with a leopard print scarf. I also wore a hat to fashionably shield myself from the sun but it wasn’t too much help since it was a felt material and I sort of tipped it back 😛
p.s. Doesn’t look it from the pictures but omg I was sweating a light sheen under the scarf and hat!
